Imagine how the story will end<\/h2>

What blessings do we have for being loyal to Jehovah?<\/h3>

Proverbs 27:11<\/strong> \u2014 Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice, So that I can make a reply to him who taunts me.<\/em>

Comment 1:<\/strong> A very special blessing is knowing that we can make Jehovah\u2019s heart rejoice. He does not overlook our loyalty. When we reject something that displeases him, we are not merely avoiding a sin\u2014we are doing something that makes the most important Person in our life happy.<\/p>

Philippians 4:7<\/strong> \u2014 and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.<\/em>

Comment 2:<\/strong> We enjoy the peace that comes from God. This does not mean that all difficulties disappear, but it does mean that through Christ Jesus we have protection for our heart and mind. I think it is important to remember this when facing a temptation: what is being offered to us is not worth putting such valuable peace at risk.<\/p>

Comment 3:<\/strong> For me, one of the greatest blessings is maintaining our friendship with Jehovah. Sometimes a temptation makes us think a lot about what we might gain and very little about what we already have. So it is good to stop and remember how valuable it is to be close to him. If we value that friendship before making a decision, it will be easier for us to see that a momentary desire is not worth putting it at risk.<\/p>

Comment 4:<\/strong> I am struck by the fact that Jehovah allows us to respond by our conduct to the one who challenges him. A decision may seem small or no one else may find out about it, but our loyalty has value to Jehovah. Thinking about this helps us not to measure a decision only by its immediate consequences. We can also ask ourselves what opportunity it gives us to show that we love Jehovah and want to do what pleases him.<\/p>

Comment 5:<\/strong> Being loyal protects us from the consequences of giving in to a temptation. It does not spare us all of life\u2019s problems, but it does spare us from those that could result from taking that wrong path. Sometimes we appreciate a good decision afterward, when we think about what would have happened if we had acted differently. The Workbook encourages us to do that thinking beforehand, while we can still choose and protect our relationship with Jehovah.<\/p>

Comment 6:<\/strong> Something that helps me is thinking that the blessings of loyalty are not limited to the future. Right now we can make Jehovah happy and enjoy his peace. So when we reject a temptation, we are not simply giving something up. We are taking care of good things that are already part of our life. Remembering them in specific terms can help us stand firm when a desire begins to seem more important than it really is.<\/p>

Comment 7:<\/strong> Loyalty allows us to look to the future with anticipation while continuing to care for our friendship with Jehovah. The video invites us to imagine a life without pain and to appreciate the fulfillment of his promises. Keeping that future in mind helps us put a temptation in its proper place. We do not want to make decisions based only on a few moments of satisfaction, but on the relationship we want to preserve with Jehovah now and in the days to come.<\/p>

What consequences might we suffer if we committed a serious sin?<\/h3>

Isaiah 59:2<\/strong> \u2014 No, your own errors have separated you from your God. Your sins have made him hide his face from you, And he refuses to hear you.<\/em>

Comment 1:<\/strong> The most serious consequence would be damaging our relationship with Jehovah. This passage shows that sins can separate us from him. So when facing a temptation, the main question should not be whether anyone will find out, but how our decision would affect the friendship we have with our Father.<\/p>

Ezekiel 7:4<\/strong> \u2014 My eye will not feel sorry for you; nor will I feel compassion, for I will bring upon you the results of your own ways, and you will suffer the consequences of your detestable deeds. And you will have to know that I am Jehovah.\u2019<\/em>

Comment 2:<\/strong> Jehovah warned the unfaithful Israelites that they would suffer the consequences of their conduct. This reminds us that a bad decision does not end at the moment we make it. Before acting, we need to think about what might happen afterward, not just about what we feel now.<\/p>

Comment 3:<\/strong> We could lose the peace we value so much. The Workbook invites us to compare the blessings of being loyal with the consequences of giving in. If we now enjoy God\u2019s peace, it is worth stopping to think about how painful it would be to put it at risk for a passing satisfaction. This comparison helps us see the temptation more completely, including what we could lose and not just what it seems to offer us.<\/p>

Comment 4:<\/strong> I am impressed that our actions can grieve someone we love as much as Jehovah. We know that our wisdom and loyalty make his heart rejoice; therefore, seriously disobeying him would not be a minor matter. Thinking about how he would feel may help us more than focusing only on the consequences for ourselves. We do not want to avoid sin merely because we fear suffering, but because we value his affection and want to show our love in return.<\/p>

Comment 5:<\/strong> Isaiah shows that sin can even affect whether Jehovah listens to our prayers. This makes me think about how precious it is to be able to approach him. When something tempts us, we may not immediately think about that aspect of our relationship with Jehovah. But stopping to value it can completely change the way we view the situation. We do not want to take lightly conduct that would harm that relationship.<\/p>

Comment 6:<\/strong> A brief satisfaction could lead to consequences that continue affecting us afterward. Jehovah\u2019s warning to the Israelites helps us not to separate an action from its results. I find it useful to imagine not only the moment of giving in but also what would come afterward: having damaged my relationship with Jehovah and having put my peace at risk. Thinking about it beforehand can give me a very powerful reason to stop.<\/p>

Comment 7:<\/strong> We could end up regretting having put blessings we already had at risk. That is why the Workbook recommends thinking before taking the first step. We do not have to wait for a situation to progress before asking ourselves where it is leading. If we see that a decision is bringing us closer to a serious sin, it is wise to stop. Honestly imagining the consequences can help us protect what we would later wish we had not risked.<\/p>

What are you most looking forward to when you imagine yourself in the new world?<\/h3>

Comment 1:<\/strong> What I look forward to most is living without pain. The song acknowledges that our heart sometimes aches now, but it helps us look beyond that suffering. I am moved to imagine that the time will come when we can enjoy life knowing that wickedness is a thing of the past.<\/p>

Comment 2:<\/strong> I am moved to think about those who cannot hear now and who will then hear clearly. The song presents this hope in a very personal way. Things we may take for granted, such as enjoying sounds, will be a source of immense joy. When I imagine it, I think not only of what I will be able to enjoy but also of how happy so many people will be to experience things that are not within their reach today.<\/p>

Comment 3:<\/strong> One of the ideas I like most is being able to enjoy color fully. The video contrasts a reality now described as gray with a future full of possibilities. It makes me think about how meaningful it will be for someone to appreciate what they could not enjoy before. Imagining that joy helps me see the new world as a concrete hope, with very personal reasons to thank Jehovah.<\/p>

Comment 4:<\/strong> I look forward to the idea of regaining youth. The song expresses the joy of feeling young and giving thanks for life each morning. I like to imagine that sunrise will not bring the same concern about today\u2019s limitations but a renewed desire to enjoy life. That perspective helps me not to think that our present situation is all that awaits us. Jehovah gives us reasons to look ahead.<\/p>

Comment 5:<\/strong> I am very excited to think about those who will be able to run happily. The song expresses the desire to leave behind a situation that is unwanted now. Imagining that freedom of movement moves me deeply. What may seem simple to one person represents an immense hope and a very special reason to thank Jehovah to another.<\/p>
