Do you keep the angels in mind when you preach?<\/h2>

When you are preaching, in what ways do you imagine the angels\u2019 support?<\/h3>

2 Kings 6:15-17<\/strong> \u2014 When the attendant of the man of the true God rose early and went outside, he saw that an army with horses and war chariots was surrounding the city. At once the attendant said to him: \u201cAlas, my master! What are we to do?\u201d But he said: \u201cDo not be afraid! For there are more who are with us than those who are with them.\u201d Then Elisha began to pray and say: \u201cO Jehovah, open his eyes, please, that he may see.\u201d Immediately Jehovah opened the attendant\u2019s eyes and he saw, and look! the mountainous region was full of horses and war chariots of fire all around Elisha.<\/em>

Comment 1:<\/strong> It helps me to remember that what I see is not all there is. As the account about Elisha shows, Jehovah may be providing support that his servants do not yet perceive.<\/p>

Comment 2:<\/strong> I think about how the angels may direct us to someone who wants to learn about Jehovah. We do not know what concerns a person has or whether he is looking for answers. So before deciding that a conversation will not accomplish anything, I prefer to give him the opportunity to listen. It encourages me to think that a visit that seems ordinary to me could be very important to that person.<\/p>

Comment 3:<\/strong> The illustration in the Workbook makes me think about what is not visible at first glance. The sisters are speaking with a man, and an angel is depicted behind them. For me, the application is not to focus so much on the appearance of the person who opens the door that I forget about Jehovah\u2019s support. I want to approach him respectfully and give him the opportunity to listen.<\/p>

Why do we need the angels to help us in the preaching work?<\/h3>

Revelation 14:6-7<\/strong> \u2014 And I saw another angel flying in midheaven, and he had everlasting good news to declare to those who dwell on the earth, to every nation and tribe and tongue and people. He was saying in a loud voice: \u201cFear God and give him glory, because the hour of judgment by him has arrived, so worship the One who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and the springs of water.\u201d<\/em>

Comment 1:<\/strong> Because the work covers far more than our territory. The vision shows an announcement directed to people throughout the earth and reminds us that it has heavenly support.<\/p>

Comment 2:<\/strong> We can organize ourselves well and prepare a good presentation, but we do not know where every person who wants to learn about Jehovah can be found. That is where we especially value the angels\u2019 help, since they can direct us to those who need to hear the message. Recognizing that limitation does not lessen our desire to work hard. Rather, it helps us combine good preparation with confidence in the support Jehovah provides.<\/p>

Comment 3:<\/strong> The preaching work is not simply a campaign that we have decided to organize. It is part of what Jehovah is doing so that people may come to know him. If the angels participate in it, it would be a mistake to think that everything depends on our experience or our ability to speak. We need their support because we are sharing in a work that has heavenly direction, not merely human organization.<\/p>

What does the expression \u201cin midheaven\u201d mean?<\/h3>

In the vision, the angel is not carrying a message reserved for just a few people. His position emphasizes that the announcement must reach far and wide. This fits with the recipients mentioned in the passage: people of different nations, tribes, and tongues. The idea is that the good news should be spread widely.<\/p>

Comment 3:<\/strong> Here the expression does not describe the place where Jehovah resides, but the region of the atmosphere where birds fly. This clarification helps us understand the image: the angel appears in a position from which his announcement can reach those living on earth. The point is not to calculate an exact height, but to understand what that position emphasizes about the proclamation.<\/p>

Why is it important to remember the role of the angels in the preaching work?<\/h3>

Psalms 91:9-12<\/strong> \u2014 Because you said: \u201cJehovah is my refuge,\u201d You have made the Most High your dwelling; No disaster will befall you, And no plague will come near your tent. For he will give his angels a command concerning you, To guard you in all your ways. They will carry you on their hands, So that you may not strike your foot against a stone.<\/em>

Comment 1:<\/strong> This psalm highlights Jehovah\u2019s care through his angels. Remembering this helps me not to face the ministry thinking only about my own strength. My confidence is in Jehovah and in the support he provides.<\/p>

Comment 2:<\/strong> Because it can help us to continue preaching when we encounter indifference. If we think only about the last conversations that did not go well, we could lose our enthusiasm. By contrast, remembering that the work has heavenly direction allows us to look beyond those immediate results. As an application, I want to continue giving people the opportunity to listen, without deciding beforehand that it is no longer worth trying.<\/p>

Comment 3:<\/strong> It helps me to keep alive the hope of finding someone who is searching for the truth. The publications explain that some people have received a visit after asking God for help. Without claiming that every encounter is due to angelic intervention, that possibility motivates me not to preach routinely. The person we speak with could be going through a very important moment in life.<\/p>
