Video: Become a friend of Jehovah: You must love the house of Jehovah.<\/h2>\n\n

Question:<\/strong> What should we do to take care of the Kingdom Hall, and why?<\/p>\n\n

Comment 1:<\/strong>We must clean the Kingdom Hall. The video recalls that Samuel served in the tabernacle, and that the place was as his house, but it was also the house of Jehovah. That teaches us that the place where we worship Jehovah must be treated with great respect.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 2:<\/strong>The video shows Samuel treating the Jehovah’s house well cleaning it up. In the same way, we can take care of the Kingdom Hall by keeping it clean. Thus we show that we understand that it is not any place, but a place dedicated to Jehovah.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 3:<\/strong>We must see the Hall of the Kingdom as the house of Jehovah. The video makes that comparison with the tabernacle. If Samuel looked after the tabernacle because it was the house of Jehovah, we too would like to take care of the Kingdom with that same attitude.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 4:<\/strong>The video shows that even children can help take care of the Hall. Caleb understands he can collaborate by cleaning up. That reminds us that we are all small or old, we can do something to make the Hall clean and well cared for.<\/p>\n\n

Likewise, women must dress in appropriate clothes and manage with modesty and good judgment, not with hairstyles of braids and gold or pearls or very expensive clothes, <\/a><\/sup>but with good works, as is typical of women who claim to have devotion to God.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Question:<\/strong> How else can we all show respect for Jehovah when we attend our meetings?<\/p>\n\n

Comment 1:<\/strong>We can show respect for Jehovah with our way of dressing and managing. 1 Timothy 2:9 speaks of wearing proper clothing, with modesty and good judgment. That teaches us that, when we go to meetings, our appearance must be worthy and reflect respect for Jehovah’s adoration.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 2:<\/strong>The text also helps us avoid getting too much attention. He mentions that the important thing is not the ornaments, the face clothes or an appearance that seeks to impress. When we attend meetings, we want the attention to be in Jehovah and what we learn, not in us.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 4:<\/strong>1 Timothy 2:10 says that the most important thing is good works, as is the right of those who have devotion to God. So we also show respect for Jehovah with our conduct in meetings: listening, participating, being kind and behaving in a way that honors Jehovah.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 5:<\/strong>This text reminds us that our appearance must be accompanied by a spiritual attitude. It is not just about dressing well, but of showing modesty, good judgment and devotion to God.
