What expenses do we have to cover to keep our Kingdom Halls in good condition? And why is it important to look after our living rooms?<\/h2>\n\n

Comment 1:<\/strong>The article mentions that there are normal expenses of the Hall of the Kingdom, such as the Internet, water and electricity. Commodities, such as paper to dry hands, gloves, cleaning items and paint, are also needed. Even if they look like small expenses, they all help make the Hall clean, tidy and in good condition to worship Jehovah.<\/p>\n\n

The article explains that congregations are responsible for cleaning up frequently and dealing with small problems. Comment 1:<\/strong>It strikes me that the work is very well organized. The Local Department of Design and Construction appoints maintenance trainers, and each serves between six and ten chairs. They visit the buildings, train the brothers and help detect maintenance and safety problems.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 2:<\/strong>It also strikes me that every three years the buildings are examined. That shows that everything is not expected to be very deteriorated, but that the Halls are reviewed in time. Thanks to this organization, problems can be discovered before they are more serious or more expensive.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 3:<\/strong>It’s nice to see that the expenses are covered by donations. Part of it is used for the normal expenses of the Hall, and what is left over is donated to the world work. Thus, donations help not only our Hall, but also to Kingdom Halls elsewhere.<\/p>\n\n
