Lesson 102: John Has a Revelation<\/h2>\n\n

How many visions does John see?<\/h3>\n\n

Comment 1:<\/strong>John sees 16 visions while he is a prisoner on the island of Patmos. In those visions, Jesus shows him very important events related to the future. John is able to see how Jehovah’s name will be sanctified, how his Kingdom will come, and how God’s will is going to be done on earth as it is already done in heaven.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 2:<\/strong>The 16 visions that John received were not merely impressive or symbolic images. Their purpose was to strengthen the faith of Jehovah’s servants and to help them understand that even though Satan may seem to have power, Jehovah is in absolute control and his Kingdom will win out in the end.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 3:<\/strong>John saw glorious scenes, such as Jehovah seated on his heavenly throne, surrounded by the 24 elders, who bow down before him and worship him. That vision helps us to picture Jehovah’s majesty and the reverence that those in heaven have for him.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 4:<\/strong>He also saw a great crowd from all nations, peoples, and languages worshipping Jehovah. This reminds us that God’s purpose is not limited to a single people or nation. Jehovah wants sincere people from everywhere to be able to gain his approval and to enjoy his care.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 5:<\/strong>John’s visions cover everything from the conflict with Satan to perfect peace in heaven and on earth. Although some of the scenes are very dramatic, the main message is very comforting: Jehovah will sanctify his name, remove wickedness, and completely fulfill his purpose.<\/p>\n\n

What will Jesus do in the war of Armageddon?<\/h3>\n\n

Comment 1:<\/strong>In the war of Armageddon, Jesus will conquer Satan’s wicked world. It will not be a human war or an unjust one; it will be Jehovah’s intervention by means of the King whom he himself has appointed. Jesus will remove wickedness so that there can finally be true peace and so that God’s will can be done on earth.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 2:<\/strong>Jesus will act as King and as a righteous warrior. John sees Jesus and his army defeat Satan’s system. This shows that Jesus is not only loving, patient, and compassionate but also powerful and fully able to defend Jehovah’s justice when the appointed time comes.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 3:<\/strong>Armageddon will put an end to the rule of Satan and of all who oppose Jehovah. For centuries, Satan has caused suffering, lies, rebellion, and death. But Jesus will bring that rule to an end, and it will become clear that only Jehovah’s government can bring true peace and lasting security.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 4:<\/strong>Jesus will not go to Armageddon to destroy for the sake of destroying but to remove everything that keeps the earth from being a righteous, clean, and peaceful place. After that victory, the way will be opened for everyone to worship Jehovah in peace and unity, just as John saw in the revelation.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 5:<\/strong>Jesus’ victory at Armageddon will fulfill the promise of Genesis 3:15. The offspring of the woman will crush the head of the serpent, that is, it will put an end to Satan. This assures us that Jehovah has not forgotten his first promise and that he will fulfill it completely.<\/p>\n\n

Additional comments on Lesson 102: What do we learn about Jehovah in this lesson?<\/h3>\n\n

Comment 1:<\/strong>We learn that Jehovah is the Sovereign of the universe and deserves all worship. John sees him seated on his glorious throne, surrounded by heavenly creatures who honor him. That vision reminds us that Jehovah is not a distant or weak God but the powerful Creator who rules with justice, wisdom, and holiness.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 2:<\/strong>Jehovah wants his name to be sanctified. The visions show that everything will end with heaven and earth worshipping him united and at peace. That helps us to see that Jehovah’s purpose is not focused only on removing human problems but on clearing his name of all reproach.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 3:<\/strong>We also learn that Jehovah does not forget his faithful servants. John saw a great crowd from all nations who receive care and guidance from the Lamb. This shows that Jehovah values sincere people of every background, language, and culture, and he wants to lead them to the water of life.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 4:<\/strong>Jehovah reveals the future in order to strengthen our faith. He does not leave us in the dark or allow us to live without hope. By means of the visions that Jesus showed to John, Jehovah helps us to understand that wickedness is on its way out and that his Kingdom has already secured the victory.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 5:<\/strong>This lesson teaches us that Jehovah always keeps his promises. From Genesis 3:15 to Revelation, we see one consistent theme: Jehovah will remove Satan, vindicate his name, and bring peace. That encourages us to trust in him even when the world seems to be out of control.<\/p>\n\n

What practical lessons do we learn that we can apply in our life today?<\/h3>\n\n

Comment 1:<\/strong>We learn to look to the future with faith, not with fear. John’s visions speak of awe-inspiring events, but their message is positive for those who love Jehovah. If we stay close to him, we can be confident that his Kingdom will bring justice, peace, and protection.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 2:<\/strong>We also learn to give glory to Jehovah in our daily life. The angel said: \u201cFear God and give him glory.\u201d We can do that by our conduct, our preaching, our decisions, and the way we speak about Jehovah to others. In this way we show that we want to be on the side of his Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 3:<\/strong>This lesson helps us not to be impressed by Satan’s apparent power. John saw that Satan would be defeated and that his rule would come to an end. So even though the world may seem very strong or threatening, we know that Jehovah’s Kingdom is far more powerful.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 4:<\/strong>John’s visions encourage us to keep ourselves spiritually clean. If we want to be among those who worship Jehovah in peace and unity, we need to reject the ideas, attitudes, and practices of Satan’s world and show right now that we support God’s Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 5:<\/strong>We also learn to strengthen our hope by reading and meditating on Revelation in a balanced way. Although some prophecies are deep, the main message is clear: Jehovah will triumph, Jesus will rule, and faithful servants will have a wonderful future. Thinking about that helps us to endure our present trials.<\/p>\n\n

Lesson 103: \u201cLet Your Kingdom Come\u201d<\/h2>\n\n

What will life on earth be like under God’s Kingdom?<\/h3>\n\n

Comment 1:<\/strong>Life under God’s Kingdom will be completely different from life now. There will be no more crying, pain, sickness, or death. Jehovah will wipe away every tear, and the bad things of the past will no longer cause us suffering. It will be a life full of peace, health, security, and true happiness.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 2:<\/strong>The earth will become a paradise, just as Jehovah wanted from the beginning. People will have plenty of food, safe homes, and enjoyable work. No one will live in fear of violence, cruelty, or injustice, because everyone will worship Jehovah and will learn to do what is right.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 3:<\/strong>Under God’s Kingdom, humans will once again enjoy a peaceful relationship with the animals. Wild animals will not be afraid of us, nor we of them. That harmony reminds us that Jehovah will completely restore the original purpose he had for the earth and for mankind.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 4:<\/strong>It will be thrilling to see the resurrection. Jehovah will bring back to life faithful people of the past, such as Abel, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Moses, Ruth, Esther, and David. Being able to meet them, talk with them, and work together with them in Paradise will be a blessing that is hard to imagine.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 5:<\/strong>Life on earth under God’s Kingdom will be happy because everyone will worship Jehovah in unity. There will be no division, selfishness, or wickedness. Every day we will have energy, meaningful work, and new things to learn about Jehovah. It will be everlasting life with purpose, peace, and friendship with God.<\/p>\n\n

Of all the people we have read about in this book, whom would you like to meet in Paradise?<\/h3>\n\n

Comment 1:<\/strong>I would like to meet Noah, because he lived in a very violent world and still remained faithful to Jehovah. It would be very interesting to ask him how he managed to keep obeying for so many years, how he put up with the ridicule, and how he felt when he saw Jehovah do exactly what he had promised.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 2:<\/strong>I would like to meet Abraham. He had extraordinary faith and was willing to obey Jehovah even when he did not know all the details. Talking with him in Paradise would help us to understand better what it means to trust completely in God’s promises.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 3:<\/strong>I would like to meet Moses, because he was a man greatly used by Jehovah and, at the same time, a very humble man. It would be exciting to hear from his own lips how Jehovah freed Israel, how they crossed the Red Sea, and what he learned from dealing with the people for so many years.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 4:<\/strong>I would like to meet Ruth, because her loyalty and love for Jehovah were so beautiful. She left her homeland behind and chose to serve the true God. Her account shows that Jehovah sees and rewards the courageous decisions of those who seek him with a sincere heart.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 5:<\/strong>It would also be very exciting to meet David. Although he made serious mistakes, he repented from the heart and continued to love Jehovah. Talking with him would help us to appreciate God’s mercy more, along with the importance of accepting correction and the need to get up spiritually when we have failed.<\/p>\n\n

Additional comments on Lesson 103: What do we learn about Jehovah in this lesson?<\/h3>\n\n

Comment 1:<\/strong>We learn that Jehovah never abandons his purpose. Even though Adam and Eve disobeyed, Jehovah did not give up on having the earth become a paradise filled with happy people. From the beginning he has moved ahead with his purpose, and his Kingdom will make everything he promised come true.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 2:<\/strong>Jehovah is a tender and compassionate God. His promise to wipe away every tear shows that he is not indifferent to our suffering. He sees the pain of mankind, he understands what we have been through, and he is going to remove the causes of our tears completely\u2014not just temporarily but forever.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 3:<\/strong>We also learn that Jehovah wants us to live, not to suffer. He promises to eliminate sickness, old age, and death. That helps us to understand his personality better: Jehovah is the Creator of life, and he wants his servants to enjoy a happy, healthy, and full existence.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 4:<\/strong>Jehovah keeps his promises even if time passes. Throughout this book we have seen that he has always acted to carry out his purpose. This gives us confidence that the promises about Paradise are not a pleasant dream or a human illusion but a sure reality, because they come from Jehovah.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 5:<\/strong>This lesson shows us that Jehovah wants to be our best friend. He promises not only a beautiful paradise but also a life in which we will be able to keep learning about him forever. The more we come to know him, the more our love, our gratitude, and our desire to worship him will grow.<\/p>\n\n

What practical lessons do we learn that we can apply in our life today?<\/h3>\n\n

Comment 1:<\/strong>We learn to draw closer to Jehovah each day, starting now. We do not want to wait until Paradise to become his friends. We can strengthen our relationship with him through prayer, Bible reading, the preaching work, the meetings, and by making decisions that show we want his Kingdom to rule over us.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 2:<\/strong>This lesson helps us to keep our hope alive. When we see sickness, death, violence, or personal problems, we can remember that all of that will be removed. Thinking about Paradise is not escaping from reality; it is looking with faith at the future reality that Jehovah has promised.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 3:<\/strong>We also learn to live as future citizens of the Kingdom. If everyone in Paradise will be peaceful, kind, and obedient to Jehovah, we want to cultivate those qualities now. In this way we show that we really do want to live under God’s rulership and that we support his way of ruling.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 4:<\/strong>The hope of the resurrection moves us to comfort others. Many people are suffering because of the loss of loved ones. We can tactfully share the promise found at John 5:28, 29 and explain that Jehovah wants to bring back to life those who have died.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 5:<\/strong>Finally, we learn to give the Kingdom priority in our life. Jesus taught us to pray: \u201cLet your Kingdom come.\u201d If we pray for that, we should also live in harmony with that request by supporting the preaching work, obeying Jehovah, and keeping our eyes fixed on Paradise.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
