Introduction: Let’s Be Brave to Walk with God<\/h2>\n\n

1-3. Why did Jesus show that he was brave when he said, Arise, let us go?<\/h3>\n\n

Comment 1:<\/strong>Jesus showed great courage because he knew exactly what awaited him. He was not walking to an unknown situation, but towards arrest, ill-treatment and death. Yet he did not flee or hide, but decided to face everything for the love of Jehovah and us.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 2:<\/strong>The phrase “Get up, let’s go,” shows that Jesus did not passively wait for him to be arrested. He knew that an armed crowd was coming and that his enemies wanted to kill him. But instead of escaping, he advanced to the toughest test that any human being has faced.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 3:<\/strong>Jesus was brave because he had the possibility to ask for supernatural help. He himself said he could ask his father legions of angels. Comment 1:<\/strong>Jesus demonstrated true courage, not impulsive or reckless courage. He did not believe himself invincible or seek danger unnecessarily. Its courage was the inner strength that propelled him to do the will of Jehovah even if that implied fear, pain and suffering.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 2:<\/strong>The value of Jesus had nothing to do with violence or with demonstrating superiority. He did not respond aggressively or try to impose himself by force. His bravery was seen in his obedience, in his self-control and in his decision to do the right thing if it was very difficult.<\/p>\n\n

Being true Christians demands courage to preach, stay clean, defend our faith and make decisions that will not always be popular. Comment 1:<\/strong>We know that Jesus trusts in his disciples because he said to them, Be brave, that I have overcome the world. That phrase was not just a general mood. Jesus was convinced that they could remain faithful, and eventually proved that, with their help, they could be brave.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 2:<\/strong>Jesus did not focus solely on the fears or mistakes of his disciples. He also saw his potential. That’s why he conveyed confidence to them and reminded them that they could pass the tests. This encourages us because Jesus can also see qualities in us that we may not see ourselves.<\/p>\n\n

He encouraged a paralytic, comforted a woman who was afraid, reassured her disciples when they were frightened and later said to Paul, “Take courage.” This shows that he knows how to cheer according to what each person needs.<\/p>\n\n

9. How does the Word of God help us to be braver?<\/h3>\n\n

Comment 1:<\/strong>The Word of God helps us because it contains real examples of men and women who were brave. They were not perfect or superior to us. They had feelings, weaknesses and fears, but they trusted Jehovah and managed to do the right thing in difficult times.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 2:<\/strong>The Bible reminds us that the faithful servants of the past had the same feelings as we did. That’s very animating, because it helps us not to see them as unattainable people. If they could be brave with the help of Jehovah, we too can be brave.<\/p>\n\n

Comment 1:<\/strong>This book will help us to be braver and braver. Through 54 chapters, we will see how Jehovah helped imperfect men and women act courageously when they needed it. That will allow us to learn from their decisions, from their faith and the way Jehovah sustained them.<\/p>\n\n
