We started with the first assignment.

Start conversations in public preaching with a duration of 3 minutes in which we explain to the person who has no Christian history what the Commemoration is

Person:

Good afternoon. Sorry to bother you. I have seen that he carries as invitations in his hand, about the death of Jesus. The truth is, I’ve seen them leaving them in the neighborhood for another year, and I’ve had some in my mailbox. Why is the Jehovah’s Witnesses so important to you to celebrate that?

Publisher:

Good afternoon, don’t worry, in fact I have time, and we’re leaving people this invitation free, for, indeed, the Commemoration of Christ’s death. My name is Sara, you?

Person:

My name is Maya. If it’s a celebration you do, why do you invite so many people to attend?

Publisher:

Because the benefits are for all people and because Jesus commanded it, to remember and celebrate this important act. And we want people to know what it means for a perfect person, Son of God, to make such a sacrifice, not only for the people of that time, but for people who would not know hundreds of years later, like us. Isn’t it a great sacrifice, isn’t it? It’s a gift…

Person:

If you raise it like that… but what are the benefits of that sacrifice for us? I know that Jesus was a good person… and he did good things for people. But I also tell you, there are many people of our present day who have done good things as well…

Publisher:

Yes, it is true. Many of those people you mention are also often remembered and even for some they make some kind of monument or statue. Then, at this point, you might wonder, why is it different in the case of Jesus? I have mentioned before some points that guide the answer to this question, such as that: he was a perfect person and, the other, is or was the Son of God when he came to Earth.

Person:

Sure… and it would make sense to you. I have grown up in a non-religious family, and I have never been instilled in that faith in God…

Publisher:

I understand you perfectly. I was not born a Jehovah’s Witness either. I want to read you a text from the Bible, it is Matthew 20:28, see what is said there: That’s what the Son of Man did. He did not come to serve him, but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom in exchange for many people. In the Commemoration, among other things, it is explained what this ransom means, and why it is important for all people who have faith in God and in His Word. This is your invitation, and I’d like you to attend, we can go together, and you can see firsthand why it’s such an important celebration for humanity.

Great sisters. The second allocation is:

Take a 4-minute review with a duration of 4 minutes from house to house, and you have to offer a Bible course to a person who accepted the invitation to the Commemoration on the previous visit

Publisher:

Good afternoon Maya. How are you? Are you ready for next week’s Commemoration?

Person:

Good afternoon Sara. You know, I’ve been looking and researching a little bit about the invitation you left me, and I’ve looked at the QR code, there’s a lot of information on your website about the Commemoration… although, the more I research, the more questions and doubts I get…

Publisher:

I know that there are many things at once, and some are, in turn, complex to explain and in some cases difficult to understand. Therefore it is important to study the Bible and what God tells us about him, his Son and the coming Kingdom. Tell me Maya, what’s the question what else is your mind? See if we can solve it…

Person:

Well, look… in the information you left me, there’s a few people who participate in bread and wine. These are the emblems you told me last week that they were going to pass. I mean, of the people who will go next week, are there some who eat from bread and drink from the wine?

Publisher:

That’s one of the difficult and complex questions to explain. Yes, it’s true the information you read. The Bible speaks of two flocks, the little one, who will reign with Christ in heaven when the Kingdom of God is established, and a great crowd, which we hope to live forever on Earth turned into a paradise. I will read you the biblical passage of Revelation 7 and verse 9: After this I saw a great crowd that no man could count. They were of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, and stood before the throne and before the Lamb. Let’s leave it there.

Person:

I mean, I understand, I, who am recovering my faith in God, would be in that group. But then, who are the 144,000? I mean, yes, the people who will rule with Jesus. How do they know they will rule with the Son of God?

Publisher:

I see you have a great healthy curiosity Maya. You remind me of me many years ago when I began to delve into the Bible and the Word of God. I would like that after the Commemoration, we can, every week study together a little bit of the Bible, like a Bible course, I would come with a partner every week, and I assure you that all the doubts and questions you have will take shape.

Person:

In principle, I’m fine with Sara… although I can’t give you a fixed schedule for my work shifts…

Publisher:

That’s why don’t you worry that we’d adapt…

Person:

Great… but as next week arrives, are you gonna leave me with this doubt?

Publisher:

Well… as I told you, it’s one of the complex questions and there’s no closed answer either. There are matters that belong to God, and we have to respect them. That is why this study of the Bible is important to understand God’s purpose. However, I can tell you four things about the 144,000 and the Commemoration: the first, a person belonging to the small flock has no doubt that it is, the second, possibly no person in the celebration of the next to the emblem, and we do not know their identities, the third, since the introduction of the Lord’s Supper, very few will be missing to complete that number, and fourth, the final decision for a person to serve in heaven will have God. That said, I’ll pick you up next week at the agreed time.

Great sisters. In this demonstration the person has raised a complex question with our publisher. This is a situation that can be presented to us, and the sister has addressed the issue in a very neutral, respectful way and referring to the importance of seeking useful information in the Bible through a study of it.

The next and last assignment for this week is in the section of Haga disciples, with lesson 19: Are they the true Jehovah’s Witnesses true Crsitan?, and it will be answered using points 1, 2 and 3. With a duration of 5 minutes.

Make 5-minute disciples with the 19th lesson of the pamphlet Enjoy of life, Are the Jehovah’s Witnesses true Christians?

Publisher:

All right, Martha, we’ve come to the 19th lesson of our Enjoyment of life forever. Look how interesting it starts, I read you: Do Jehovah’s Witnesses believe we are true Christians. Why is that? Let us analyze the basis of our beliefs and the name that distinguishes us, and see also the kind of love we show ourselves. Have you set yourself the title of this lesson? It is in the form of a question: Are the Jehovah’s Witnesses true Christians? Being in lesson 19, you’d respond to this before we analyze the following points.

Student:

Well, look, Sara… I’ve personally noticed a very big difference from my previous religion, where I found myself… how to tell you? Empty in feelings. Every week with the studio, meetings and the company with the brothers I’ve been able to see that they really apply what I’m studying…

Publisher:

All right, and that’s one of the keys to answering this question. Not simply because yes, because we say so or believe it. But it shows day by day, not only in a Christian environment, but in every facet of our lives… because we apply what we study, and what is that? What is the basis of our beliefs?

Student:

The Bible. Which is the word of God as point one says. Jesus said to God, “Your word is the truth.” Therefore all you teach me and I am learning are not your personal advice, but your experiences have always supported me with the advice of the Bible, the Word of God.

Publisher:

When we started this study… you had your doubts… I also had mine about how to bring to your heart the Word of God… and that’s why we started comparing the teachings with your Bible, did you notice that I said the same thing?

Student:

Yeah, the meaning was the same… with another vocabulary and some slightly more complex things to understand… but the essence is the same…

Publisher:

And that’s because the Word of God, unless you try to misrepresent, is the same. However, as we have seen, in some Churches different things were taught, or changes were made as appropriate. And that is no longer the truth of God, it will be the truth of others…. John 17:17 says, “Sprock them through the truth; your word is the truth.” The truth of who?

Student:

The truth of God, of course…

Publisher:

Yes, but God has a name, we have studied it, and we have read it many times in the Bible.

Student:

Yes, Jehovah. Hence the name of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Publisher:

It is a decision that was made in 1931. That’s funny. Jesus in the Bible was called the Faithful Witness. But not by calling us that means we have to be true Christians. Then why do you think this decision was made to call us Jehovah’s Witnesses?

Student:

Mmmmm… I don’t know… because God wants us to call him by his name, because that brings us closer to him, right? He wants us to be his friends…

Publisher:

Of course God wants us to be his friends, he is our heavenly Father, and he wants us to always be very close to him. Very good Marta. But we call ourselves that, and of which we are very proud, for what we are proclaiming is the truth of God, is the truth of Jehovah, the Word of Jehovah… not of any man, nor any modification or adaptation of the Bible to our convenience…

Student:

Of course, I understand, it is very appropriate and yes, it is a privilege and pride to bear the name of God. And of course, that implies that our lives have to be clean and without blemish as you have taught me… otherwise we would be tarnishing the name of God, and we would not be doing things as He wants…

Publisher:

Imagine what example we would be given of our loving God Jehovah… The question of point 3 says, “How do Jesus’s love imitate the love of Jehovah’s Witnesses?”

Student:

Treating us all as equals, as a beautiful loving family… Mark’s text makes it clear; honor people of all kinds, have love for the whole brotherhood.

Publisher:

We are a great world family, in which we all love each other, we are as dear brothers, for that reason, we call each other that. We help ourselves no matter what, whatever the difficulty, and how far we are. And this love, it’s not just with our brothers and sisters, it’s also for everyone… let’s keep delving into the subject…

So far the demonstration examples for this week. Remember, these are examples of demonstration for the allotted time. Share this video if you liked it, and subscribe to our channel, see you at the next one.
