JW Daily Text for Monday, March 2, 2026

The Biblical text is Psalm 61:4, which reads:

I will be a guest in your tent forever; I will take refuge under the shelter of your wings.

The daily text for today is as follows: 

We enter the holy of Jehovah when we dedicate our life to him. There we enjoy spiritual food in abundance and the company of other Jehovah’s guests. But where is this symbolic store? He is not in one place; he is anywhere where there are obedient servants of Jehovah (Rev. 21:3). And what of the servants of Jehovah who died faithful? Are they still guests in your store? Yes, yes. Why do we come to this conclusion? For the Bible shows that they are alive in the memory of Jehovah. Jesus explained: “May the dead be raised, even Moses revealed it in the bush account, when he called Jehovah the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for they are all alive to him. (Luke. 20:37, 38).

And it is based on The Watchtower of June 2024 with the theme: The great honor of being a guest of Jehovah.”

In biblical times, a store made of fabric offered rest and protection from bad weather. And when a guest walked into a store, he could be sure he would be treated with hospitality. Well, we enter into the hospice of Jehovah when we dedicate our life to him (Ps. 61:4). There we enjoy spiritual food in abundance and the company of other Jehovah’s guests. But where is this symbolic store? He is not in one place; he is anywhere where there are obedient servants of Jehovah. This has been seen by all those who have traveled abroad, perhaps to attend a special assembly, and have met other people who are in the tent of God (Rev. 21:3).

And what of the servants of Jehovah who died faithful? Are they still guests in your store? Yes, yes. Why do we come to this conclusion? For the Bible shows that they are alive in the memory of Jehovah. Jesus explained: “May the dead be raised, even Moses revealed it in the bush account, when he called Jehovah the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for they are all alive to him. (Luke. 20:37, 38).

Now we move on to our personal analysis for today’s daily text: 

The idea is precious: the holy of Jehovah is a way of speaking to be near him, under his care and within his people. We entered that symbolic store when we dedicated our lives to him. And within it we enjoy two clear gifts: spiritual food in abundance and the company of other servants of Jehovah, as if we were all invited in one spiritual home.

Then the text answers a practical question: where is that store? It’s not a unique physical place. It is wherever there are obedient servants of Jehovah. Therefore it connects with Revelation 21:3, which speaks of God’s tent with mankind: Jehovah is with his people, not limited to a building or an area.

And then he addresses something very comforting: what about the faithful servants who died? Are they still guests? The text says yes, because they are alive in the memory of Jehovah. Jesus explained it when he quoted the bush’s account and called Jehovah, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, “Jehovah is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for they are alive to him.” That is, though they are dead, Jehovah hath not forgotten them: their friendship with him was not blotted out. And that holds our hope for the resurrection.

How can we apply today’s daily text?

First: He lives as a guest of Jehovah daily. A guest looks after the house and respects the host. Today, before small decisions, ask yourself: Does this fit with being in the Jehovah’s tent? That helps you choose what strengthens your dedication.

Second: take advantage of the two gifts of the store: food and company. Set a simple finish for this week:

• spiritual food: 10-15 minutes a day of reading or meditation,
• Company: encourage a brother with a message or a brief conversation.

So you’re in the store, you don’t just go through it.

Third (very practical): If you miss someone faithful who died, use this idea to comfort you: He is alive in the memory of Jehovah. Mention his name in a prayer, thank him for his example and reaffirms your hope. That doesn’t erase the pain, but fills it with real hope.
