JW Daily Text for Saturday, March 7, 2026

The Biblical text is Psalm 96:7, which reads:

Give Jehovah what is his rightd, the families of the peoples, give Jehovah what is his righteousness for his glory and strength.

The daily text for today is as follows: 

We give glory to Jehovah because we respect him deeply. We have many reasons to respect it. Jehovah is almighty; his energy has no limits (Ps. 96:4-7). His immense wisdom is clearly seen in what he has created. He’s given us life and everything we need to keep it (Rev. 4:11). He is loyal (Apoch. 15:4). He succeeds in anything he does and always keeps his promises (Jos. 23:14). No wonder the prophet Jeremiah said to him, “Among all the wise men of the nations and among all their kingdoms, there is absolutely no one like you.” (Jer. 10:6, 7). It is clear that we have many reasons to respect our heavenly Father. But he not only deserves respect; he also earns our love. So above all we give glory to Jehovah because we love him with all our heart.

And it is based on the Zion Watchtower of 2025 with the theme: Let us give glory to Jehovah.”

6 We give glory to Jehovah because we love him with all our heart. Jehovah has many qualities that make us love him. For example, he is merciful and compassionate (Ps. 103:13; Is. 49:15). When we suffer, he feels empathy and it hurts to see our pain (Zac. 2:8). It helps us to approach him and be his friends (Get out. 25:14; Hech. 17:27). Moreover, he is humble and bends to observe heaven and earth, to lift up the humble from the dust. (Ps. 113:6, 7). Who would not want to glory to such a wonderful God? (Get out. 86:12).

Now we move on to our personal analysis for today’s daily text: 

The idea is that Jehovah deserves us to give him glory because we respect him deeply… and even more: for we love him. The text lists very strong reasons for that respect.

First, Jehovah is almighty: his energy has no limits (Psalm 96:4-7). There’s nothing that gets over it or stops it. Second, his wisdom is seen in creation: everything works with order, beauty and purpose. Third, Jehovah is the Giver of life: he gave us the existence and all that was necessary to keep it (Revelation 4:11). Fourth, Jehovah is loyal and holy (Revelation 15:4): He never betrays, he never fails morally. And the fifth, Jehovah always fulfills what he promises: he succeedeth in all that he does, and none of his promises remains unfulfilled (Joshua 23:14). Therefore Jeremiah could say, “There is absolutely no one like you.” (Jeremiah 10:6, 7).

So yes: Jehovah deserves much respect. But the text concludes with the most important: Jehovah deserves not only respect; our love is won. Therefore, above all, we give glory to Jehovah because we love him with all our heart. It is not a cold duty: it is an answer to who he is and how he treats us.

How can we apply today’s daily text?

First: Give the glory to Jehovah with specific gratitude. Today, in your prayer, don’t say just thank you. Mention 2 or 3 concrete reasons for the text: Jehovah, thank you for your power, for your loyalty, for fulfilling your promises… Specific gratitude ignites love.

Second, give glory to Jehovah with your way of speaking. This week, in a normal conversation, he mentions something good of Jehovah naturally: a promise, a quality, something that helped you. That’s what it’s up to him to know him in front of others.

Third (very practical): give him glory with obedience in a specific decision. Choose an area (time, entertainment, money, way of speaking) and make a small but real fit. Obedience is a powerful way of saying, “Jehovah, I respect you, and I love you.”

Fourth: when you lack courage, review a promise fulfilled. Joshua 23:14 Remember that Jehovah always fulfills. Think once that Jehovah hath held thee or helped thee, and use it as proof: O Jehovah is faithful. That strengthens your faith and your love.
