Letter to Preach About the Future from the A Work of Love Brochure – Example 1

SUBJECT: THE FUTURE

Dear neighbor,

I hope you are very well and can read this letter in which I only want to convey a few words about the future of our planet and our society.

In our daily life, we are increasingly astonished by the aggressiveness and hatred that exists among ourselves, from routine actions such as grocery shopping, driving our vehicle, in our work environment, or even within our own family. Without looking for it, we find conflictive or problematic situations that do not allow us to live with tranquility, peace, and happiness.

Many years ago, Jesus’ disciples on the Mount of Olives asked him when all these things would happen and what their meaning would be.

I will cite in this letter the biblical text of Matthew 24:7. If you have your own Bible, you can read it there directly:

“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in place after place.”

Luke adds to these words that dreadful scenes would be seen. And how true that is, isn’t it?

In a world with so many advances in technology, it seems that human behavior has not changed much. These are undoubtedly “critical and hard to bear times,” because as can be read in the second letter to Timothy, people will only love themselves and money, among many other things.

However, the Bible also teaches us that all this hatred will disappear and will end all the suffering we have today, allowing us to become happy people.

In this letter, you will see attached information where you can further explore what the Bible says about God’s promises.

Kind regards,

SUBJECT: THE FUTURE

Dear neighbor,

I hope you are doing well. I am glad that you have received the letter and that you are able to read it. You may not know me personally, but I am a neighbor in your community and I would like to share the following thought with you.

Surely more than once, you have heard or even said the expression: “What kind of future will we leave for our children?” or, “We have to take care of the Earth for our children.”

Without a doubt, these are normal and everyday concerns, because we only see bad things in all areas: air pollution, ocean pollution, hunger crises, diseases, violence, wars, natural disasters, governments, and politics… there are so many things that could be listed… isn’t that right?

Many parents even come to the conclusion that they would rather not have children so that they do not have to experience all of this.

However, notice what the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 1:4:

“One generation passes away, and another generation comes, but the Earth remains forever.”

The Bible, and God, promise us that our planet will never be destroyed, and that our children will always have a place to live. Of course, there will be difficulties, but never anything beyond what we can endure until God brings to all humanity the hope that the Bible teaches us.

If you want to have more information about these promises that come from God, in the pamphlet attached to the letter you can scan the QR code, visit our website, or check these passages and biblical texts in your own Bible.

A hug,

SUBJECT: THE FUTURE

Dear neighbor,

I hope you are well. You may not know me; I live in your community, and we want to talk with people about current topics of interest that concern us all.

One of these is global warming and all its effects on the environment, causing major problems with the ozone layer of the atmosphere or the warming of the oceans, raising their temperature and melting the poles.

Ultimately, there are many negative consequences that we are experiencing, whose effects we are suffering, such as earthquakes, tropical storms, sudden changes in the weather… Scientists are looking for solutions, and there are many, but the most serious problems still exist. Will it ever be possible to solve all the world’s evils?

What does the Bible say about this?

Yes, the Bible, although written many years ago, speaks of the Earth deteriorating and that some men and governments would destroy it, but it will never disappear; in fact, the time will come when the Creator will return it to a state of total paradise.

Isaiah 35:1-2: “The desert and the dry land will be filled with joy, and the wilderness will rejoice and blossom like the crocus. It will blossom abundantly; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. It will receive the glory of Lebanon, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon. They will see the glory of Jehovah, the splendor of our God.”

How eager we are to see our planet as a true paradise! When will these things happen?

In the information you will find along with this letter, you will find the answer to this question and many others. I encourage you to do so.

I hope you have a good day.

Best regards,

SUBJECT: THE FUTURE

Dear neighbor,

I hope you are well. Perhaps you don’t know me; my name is Angélica and I live in your same neighborhood.

Today I would like to share with you in this letter some words of praise and hope about a topic that affects us all and is the most important above many others, such as health.

It is commonly said that what matters is “having health.” With health we can do everything we set out to do, but if we do not have it, or if we suffer from a chronic health problem, everything comes crashing down on us and we can collapse.

But the Bible encourages us to keep going, because the time will come when what Isaiah 33:24 says in its first part will be fulfilled:

“And no inhabitant will say: ‘I am sick.’

How beautiful that would be! Isn’t it? The question we would ask ourselves now is, will it be possible that someday there will be no more diseases?

I know it is difficult to imagine, and even harder to believe, but it is a promise that God makes to us, and He does not fail us.

If you want to know more about the Bible, you can consult the treatise you will see in the letter, or you can contact me or a companion of mine at the postal address of our Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

I hope you have a better day.

Kind regards,

SUBJECT: THE FUTURE

Dear reader,

I hope you are well.

My name is Sara and I would like to convey to you a message of hope, of encouragement, that we so sometimes need in our lives.

Did you know that we will be able to live forever, with no death, on Earth with our loved ones?

This is what our God Jehovah promises, it is a promise that has been written in the Bible for many years, and those of us who have faith in God look forward to it being fulfilled soon with joy.

Do you have a Bible? Do you believe in God or have you ever had faith in Him? Please, if so, use your Bible, and read the text I mention in this letter, it is Psalm 37 verse 29:

‘The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever.’

What a beautiful hope and promise God gives us!

I address God by His name, Jehovah, He loves us as His own children, and without a doubt will fulfill His promise to all humanity, to His beloved children.

I hope you read the treatise that comes with this letter, you will find a message of hope backed by the promises of the Bible, which come from God.

Receive cordial and affectionate greetings,
