Subject: Steps to recover in a spiritual sense.

Video: I completely changed my life.

What does this video show us?

Comment 1:
We learn that it is never too late to return to Jehovah. The sister spent about fifteen years away and acknowledged that she had done things that Jehovah hates. However, when she decided to change and sought it again, Jehovah did not reject her, but helped her rebuild her life.

Comment 2:
The video shows the importance of praying again. When she realized that her life was a disaster and that she wanted to be a good mother, she prayed to Jehovah for the first time in years. The next day he got help. This shows that we can cast our concerns upon Jehovah because he cares for us.

Comment 3:
We also learn that spiritual recovery is achieved little by little. She began studying the Bible enthusiastically, changed friends, overcame her addiction and gradually regained her self-esteem. He did not solve all his problems in one day, but he kept moving forward with the help of Jehovah.

Comment 4:
Spiritual food can give us back strength. After being away for many years, she felt she had much to learn and devoted herself enthusiastically to studying. Similarly, reading or hearing even if it’s verses every day can help us strengthen our friendship with Jehovah again.

Comment 5:
The video shows that to return to Jehovah we may have to make difficult changes. She left old friends, overcome an addiction and decided to solve the situation that prevented her from fully serving Jehovah. Although leaving that life behind was not easy, knowing that Jehovah was happy with her gave him strength.

Comment 6:
We learn that shame can make us think that we do not deserve the help of Jehovah. When she found out she was pregnant, she thought everyone would consider her a failure and came to feel forceless. However, Jehovah did not see it as a lost case; he could still repent and change.

Comment 7:
We also see how important it is to seek the help of mature brothers. She talked to her uncles and told them everything, but they didn’t judge her. Afterwards, an old man listened to her and treated her very kindly. That support allowed him to see that he still had hope and could regain his friendship with Jehovah.

Comment 8:
Acts 3:19 helped her to understand that sincere repentance allows Jehovah to wipe out sins and bring times of refreshment. This teaches us that Jehovah does not want whoever repents to live crushed by guilt. He wants to forgive him, relieve him and help him start over.

Comment 9:
The old man helped her see that one mistake is not corrected by committing another. When she thought of aborting, he made him see that his baby should not pay for his mistakes and encouraged her to raise him to know Jehovah. That advice turned its desperation into a positive target.

Comment 10:
Finally, we learn that returning to Jehovah can produce wonderful results. She became a publication, baptized and raised a healthy daughter, teaching her to love Jehovah and to avoid the traps that almost cost them their lives. Jehovah can turn a very sad situation into a new life full of hope.
