Estudio del Libro de Congregación para la semana del 8 al 14 de junio de 2026

Lección 92: Jesús se aparece a los pescadores

¿Qué milagro hizo Jesús cuando se encontró con los pescadores?

Comment 1:
Jesus caused the disciples to catch a large number of fish after they had spent the whole night without catching anything. This showed that he still had Jehovah’s power and that he could bless their efforts when they obeyed his instructions.

Comment 2:
The miracle was that when they cast the net on the right side of the boat as Jesus told them, the net was filled with so many fish that they could not haul it in. This reminded them that without Jesus’ help their efforts might seem useless, but with his guidance they were successful.

Comment 3:
After a whole night of work with no results, Jesus gave them a simple instruction. When they obeyed it, they received an abundant catch. This teaches us that Jehovah can bless our efforts when we trust in the direction we receive.

Comment 4:
Jesus not only performed the miracle of filling the net with fish, he also welcomed them with a breakfast already prepared. That shows that Jesus was not cold or distant. He cared about his disciples, about their physical needs, and about strengthening them spiritually.

Comment 5:
This miracle helped the disciples to recognize that it was Jesus. John said: “It is the Lord!” So the miracle not only gave them food, it also strengthened their faith and reminded them that Jesus was still looking out for them after he had been resurrected.

Jesús le preguntó tres veces a Pedro si lo amaba, ¿por qué crees que le preguntó eso?

Comment 1:
I think that Jesus wanted to help Peter to reaffirm his love. Peter had denied Jesus three times, and now Jesus gave him the opportunity to express three times that he loved him. This must have helped him to heal emotionally and to regain his confidence.

Comment 2:
Jesus did not ask those questions to humiliate Peter but to strengthen him. He wanted Peter to understand that his love for Christ had to be shown by caring for and feeding the little sheep. True love for Jesus is shown by serving others.

Comment 3:
By asking him three times whether he loved him, Jesus helped Peter to think about what was most important in his life. It was not enough to go back to fishing or to carry on with a normal life. If Peter loved Jesus, he had to care for his disciples and follow him faithfully.

Comment 4:
Jesus knew that Peter loved him, but he wanted Peter himself to express it and to demonstrate it by actions. That is why he told him: “Feed my little sheep.” This teaches us that loving Jesus involves spiritually caring for others and helping them draw closer to Jehovah.

Comment 5:
Peter became sad when Jesus asked him for the third time, but that conversation was very loving. Jesus did not reject him for his past mistakes. On the contrary, he entrusted him with a responsibility. This teaches us that Jehovah and Jesus can keep using those who sincerely repent.

Comentarios adicionales sobre la lección 92: ¿Qué aprendemos en esta lección sobre Jehová?

Comment 1:
We learn that Jehovah is generous and knows how to care for his servants. The disciples had worked all night without success, but through Jesus they received an abundant catch. Jehovah can bless our efforts in ways we may not expect.

Comment 2:
This lesson shows us that Jehovah does not focus only on our mistakes. Peter had failed seriously by denying Jesus, but even so he received a new opportunity. This teaches us that Jehovah is merciful toward those who repent wholeheartedly.

Comment 3:
We learn that Jehovah greatly values his little sheep. Jesus told Peter to feed them and shepherd them. That shows us that to Jehovah each person in the congregation is valuable and needs care, spiritual food, and loving attention.

Comment 4:
Jehovah uses imperfect people to accomplish his will. Peter was not perfect, but Jesus gave him important responsibilities. This encourages us because, even though we make mistakes, Jehovah can keep helping us and using us if we are humble and faithful.

Comment 5:
We also learn that Jehovah blesses obedience. The disciples followed Jesus’ instruction and received a large catch. In the same way, when we obey Jehovah’s direction, even when it seems simple, we can see good spiritual results.

¿Qué lecciones prácticas aprendemos para aplicar hoy en nuestra vida?

Comment 1:
We learn to trust in Jesus’ guidance. The disciples caught nothing until they obeyed his instruction. Today we also need to trust in the direction we receive through the Bible and Jehovah’s organization, even when at times we do not see immediate results.

Comment 2:
This lesson teaches us that love for Jesus is shown by actions. Peter said that he loved Jesus, and Jesus asked him to care for his little sheep. We too show love for Christ when we help, encourage, and strengthen our brothers.

Comment 3:
We learn not to let our mistakes paralyze us. Peter had failed, but Jesus did not give up on him. If we repent and move forward, Jehovah can help us to regain our joy and to keep serving him faithfully.

Comment 4:
We also learn to be considerate and hospitable. Jesus prepared food for his disciples and invited them to have breakfast. That simple gesture reminds us that we can show Christian love not only with words but also with practical acts of kindness.

Comment 5:
Jesus told Peter: “Continue following me.” That phrase encourages us too. Even though we may have made mistakes or go through moments of discouragement, the important thing is not to give up, to follow Christ, and to keep serving Jehovah with love.

Lección 93: Jesús regresa al cielo

¿Qué mandato les dio Jesús a sus discípulos?

Comment 1:
Jesus commanded them to go and make disciples of people of all the nations. He also told them to teach everything that he had taught them and to baptize those who accepted the truth. It was a worldwide commission, not limited to a single people.

Comment 2:
Jesus’ command was to preach, teach, and make disciples. It was not just a matter of giving information but of helping people to come to know Jehovah, to obey Christ’s teachings, and to get baptized. That command is still important today.

Comment 3:
Jesus gave them a very great work: to take the good news to all the nations. But he also gave them a very comforting promise: “I am with you always.” This shows that we do not do the preaching work alone; we have Christ’s support.

Comment 4:
Jesus’ command showed that his disciples would have to look beyond their own nation. They were to preach in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the most distant part of the earth. This helps us to see that Jehovah wants all sorts of people to hear the good news.

Comment 5:
Jesus commanded them to teach others what he had taught. That reminds us that our preaching should be based on God’s Word, not on personal ideas. We help people when we patiently teach them the truths that come from Jehovah.

¿Qué pasó en el monte de los Olivos?

Comment 1:
On the Mount of Olives, Jesus met with his apostles for the last time before returning to heaven. He explained to them that they would receive holy spirit and that they would be his witnesses to the most distant part of the earth. Then he ascended to heaven, and a cloud hid him.

Comment 2:
The apostles were still thinking about whether Jesus was going to be king of Israel at that time. But Jesus helped them to understand that it was not for them to know Jehovah’s times. Rather, they should concentrate on the work of preaching and wait for the holy spirit.

Comment 3:
Jesus ascended to heaven before his disciples. They kept gazing upward until he disappeared. It must have been an awe-inspiring moment, because it confirmed that Jesus was returning to his Father and that his work on earth had fulfilled Jehovah’s purpose.

Comment 4:
On the Mount of Olives, Jesus showed them that the next stage of the work would depend on the holy spirit. The disciples were not to act on their own or get ahead of themselves. They were to wait for the help promised by Jehovah before beginning that worldwide mission.

Comment 5:
After seeing Jesus ascend to heaven, the disciples returned to Jerusalem. There they would meet together and pray while they waited for further instructions. This shows that they were not paralyzed by Jesus’ physical absence but stayed united and attentive to Jehovah’s direction.

Comentarios adicionales sobre la lección 93: ¿Qué aprendemos en esta lección sobre Jehová?

Comment 1:
We learn that Jehovah has a well-organized purpose. Jesus did not leave his disciples without direction; he explained to them what they should do and promised them help by means of the holy spirit. Jehovah always guides his people so that they can carry out his will.

Comment 2:
This lesson shows us that Jehovah wants people of all nations to receive the good news. He is not a partial God. His desire is for the Kingdom message to reach the whole earth and for many people to have the opportunity to come to know him.

Comment 3:
We learn that Jehovah empowers his servants to carry out difficult tasks. The disciples were few and the mission was enormous, but they would receive holy spirit. This teaches us that Jehovah not only commands us to do something; he also gives us the help we need.

Comment 4:
Jehovah has a time for everything. The apostles wanted to know whether Jesus was going to be king of Israel at that moment, but Jesus reminded them that the times belong to Jehovah. This teaches us to trust in his timing and not to become impatient.

Comment 5:
We also learn that Jehovah values prayer and unity. After Jesus ascended to heaven, the disciples met together and prayed. Jehovah blesses those who patiently wait for his direction, stay united, and constantly seek his help.

¿Qué lecciones prácticas aprendemos para aplicar hoy en nuestra vida?

Comment 1:
We learn that the preaching work should be a priority. Jesus commanded that disciples be made and others be taught. So even though we have many responsibilities, we want to share in this work with joy, remembering that it is a commission that comes from Christ.

Comment 2:
We also learn to teach with patience. Jesus said that his disciples were to teach everything that he had commanded. This involves helping people step by step, using the Bible and showing sincere interest in their spiritual progress.

Comment 3:
This lesson teaches us to trust in Jesus’ support. He promised to be with his disciples. When we preach or defend our faith, we are not alone. Christ directs the work, and Jehovah gives us holy spirit so that we can have courage.

Comment 4:
We learn to wait on Jehovah. The apostles had to stay in Jerusalem until they received further instructions. We too need patience when we do not understand everything or when we want something to be resolved quickly. Jehovah always acts at the right time.

Comment 5:
The attitude of the disciples teaches us the importance of meeting together and praying. After Jesus’ ascension, they stayed together and attentive to divine direction. Today we also strengthen our faith when we meet with the congregation and seek Jehovah’s help in prayer.
